Who am I ten years form now?

Do your best and God will do the rest.

-Nick Vujicic

Who am I 10 years from now?

This question I struggle with, thinking of the future and where I see myself is hard. Ten years can easily go by fast, but on paper it was a challenge. Talking about the present is much easier to elaborate. You never really know the outcome.

Now, I am a generally positive person, I just treat everyone with the same respect that i would like to be treated with.In my age now I’m just enjoying my life but still focusing on my studies. There are many different things that make me who I am. It is not just my character and my personality, but also the things I do and say.

By the time i turn 28, my life is going to be different, i’ll be better at being me. Through college life, jobs, new people, new environment and new experiences. I’ll be able to grow as a person.

Ten years from now, I see myself as a strong, independent, healthy, and most important of all, happy person, and I am aware that the only person that can get me there is myself by putting all the passion, effort and determination I have in everything I do.

At this point in my life, I will want to start a family because having children is one of the most wonderful experiences a man can have. Next, I will want to advance my career to a point where I
will persue more in my work until i will be a manager or a president of a company I am working with.

Another goal is to put up a business. Open a store where I would sell computer, computer parts and many more gadgets to have additional income that will support financial assistance of our family.

Lastly, I would like to be able to explore the world with my wife and my children.

No one knows where we will be in ten years, but I do hope and pray I will still be alive and able to accomplish my dreams.

Mr. Facebook

The youngest billionaire of this planet who created the social media called facebook, Mr. Mark Elliot Zuckerburg, Over the 1 billion active users of facebook of this world that easily keep in touch with all their friends.

Mark Elliot Zuckerburg was born on May 14, 1998, and grew up in the suburbs of New York, Dobbs Ferry. He was the second of four children and the only in the educated family. Mark’s father, Edward Zuckerburg, is a dentist and mother, Karen Zuckerburg, is a psychiatrist. His Father owned a dental practice next to the family house. Mark and his three sisters, Arielle, Ramdi, and Donna, were raised in Dobbs Ferry, New York

Mark got interested in programming yet in elementary school. The fact that the world is divided between programmers and users, Mark found out when he was 10 years old and got his first PC Quantex 486DX on the Intel 486.When Mark was about 12, he used Atari BASIC to create a messenger, which he called “ZuckNet.”

Soon Mark Zuckerberg studied at the Academy of Phillips Exeter, an exclusive school in New Hampshire. He showed good results there in science and literature, receiving a degree in classics. Mark Zuckerberg stayed fascinated by coding and wanted to work on the development of new software.

In year 2002, after graduating in Phillips Exeter, Zuckerberg entered Harvard University. He had gained a reputation as a software developer on campus. It was then when he wrote a program CourseMatch, which helped students choose their subjects on the basis of lists of courses from other users.

In 2003, once summer evening when Mark Zuckerberg suffered from insomnia in the Harvard dormitory room, he got an idea to create a site called FaceMash. Mark decided to hack the database of Harvard, where the students uploaded their profile pictures. He quickly wrote a program that randomly selected two pictures of two random female students and put them next to each other, asking “Who is hotter?”, giving the option for voting.

The process was in full swing and site was visited by most of the students at Harvard. When the number of visitors exceeded the limit, the server crashed due to overload. Mark appeared before the committee on computer hacking. Of course,he received a disciplinary action, and had noticed that such kind of things cause stormy interest in society. About ten months before the Zuckerberg’s FaceMash epic, one of the students of Harvard – Divya Narendra – had already spoken with the idea of creating a social network exclusively for Harvard students, many of whom were suffering from emotional stiffness. And not have ‘aliens’ engaged into the network, Narendra suggested using Harvard email address as the main username.

Divya Narendra’s partners were twins Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss. The father of the Winklevoss twins, Howard Winklevoss, is a successful financial consultant and put in his sons a lot of efforts and money – so the problem with the initial capital for the future network could be solved easily. In conversation with Mark, Narendra said that the project would be called Harvard Connection (later renamed to ConnectU), and its members would post on the Internet their photos, personal information, and useful links. The tasks of Mark Zuckerberg included programming of the site and creating a special source code, which would allow the system to work as quickly as possible.

After a private meeting with Narendra and the Winklevoss twins, Zuckerberg agreed to join in the work, but the potential of his new partners he estimated skeptically. While working on Harvard Connection, he got a fantastic idea for his own social network. On February 04, 2004, Mark Zuckerberg registered the domain name TheFacebook.com, now known throughout the world as Facebook.com. However, it functioned only within Harvard.

After Zuckerberg and his partner Eduardo Saverin realized that there were already 4,000 users registered on Facebook, they came to the conclusion that they needed services of new programmers. One of them was a Mark’s neighbor, Darren Moskowitz, who further opened the Facebook service to students at Columbia University, Stanford, and Yale.
Around the same time after the IPO, Zuckerberg owned 503.6 million shares. And now Zuckerberg controls nearly 60% of the company’s votes, 35% – Eduardo Saverin, and 5% went to the newcomer Moskowitz. Another friend of Mark, Chris Hughes, was assigned as the Press Attach of Facebook.

Some time later, the registration was opened to all students. The main condition was the availability of an email address in the .edu zone, which also indicated a person’s belonging to the education sector. It must be said that at first this tactic worked out nicely. The project attracted audience attention of sufficient quality. When a user was trying to sign up, he had to fill out a detailed profile, and in addition to the email address in the .edu zone, it was requested to add a real profile picture. If people used avatars instead of real pictures their profiles were deleted.

Soon, Facebook went beyond the education sector, becoming more and more popular. Mark Zuckerberg started looking for investors. The first investments Mark received from one of the founders of PayPal, Peter Thiel, who is well known throughout Silicon Valley. Peter Thiel allocated $500,000, and that amount was sufficient for immediate Facebook purposes. The project began to evolve rapidly. In less than a year after it was founded more than 1 million people joined the social network. For further development of Facebook, they needed more investments. Accel Partners invested in Facebook $12.7 million and then Greylock Partners added to this amount $27.5 million.

By 2005, Facebook became accessible for all educational institutions and universities in the USA. Zuckerberg still believed that his project is a social network for students, but the interest of users to Facebook grew exponentially. Then it was decided to make a registration accessible to the public. And after this, a Facebook ‘epidemic’ started. The main thing that immediately attracted users in Facebook is that friends who meet in real life now could communicate with each other online. It was something new.

The Facebook audience grew rapidly, but the monetization of the project still remained unclear. Everyone expected that the main instrument should be context advertising. The fact is that every Facebook user fills sufficiently detailed profile, which can be used to show relevant advertisements. Obviously, that would open up enough options to advertisers, who may be of interest to their audience. But Facebook continued to grow its audience. When they got over 50 million users, large companies began to offer Zuckerberg to sell them the project. So, one time even Yahoo! offered $900 million dollars for Facebook. Impressive sum, but it absolutely did not satisfy Mark. Facebook biography and Mark Zuckerberg success story is quite intriguing, isn’t it?

If I we’re a computer virus

The Worms

Computer viruses are, like their biological namesake, programs that infect your system and multiply. Viruses have many symptoms: some can simply slow down your computer system others can have more severe effects like corrupting a files, documents and programs. Computer are most commonly passed through interaction over internet, whether they are attached to downloaded files or emails sent from anonymous sender with already comprised systems.

Viruses can be passed from computer to computer without the owners knowing they are passing them along. There basic types of computer viruses. Trojan, these viruses do not multiply but rather make your computer’s protection weaker and thus makes your system more susceptible to viruses and other kinds of malicious software. Email viruses, emails to send itself to other computers and spread itself, they often forward themselves from infected computers.

If I were a computer virus, I want to be a worm. A computer worm that standalone, is a self-replicating computer program that penetrates computer system with the intent of spreading malicious code. I will utilize networks to send copies of my original code to other computers, causing harm by consuming bandwidth or possibly deleting files or sending documents via email.

Worms are often confused with computer viruses: the difference lies in how they spread. Computer worms spread across networks, exploiting vulnerabilities, automatically: that is, they don’t need a cybercriminal’s guidance, nor do they need to latch onto another computer program.

Dream Software: Cyber Security

Technology is the greatest and brilliant gift of science and it is the greatest achievement of mankind. It is improving and making us more advanced species of this world. Children, adult and professionals are frequently using electronic gadgets. They play, explore and know every single working operation of their gadgets, like phones, tablets, computer etc. The curiosity in their mind push them to study about the inner workings of computers.

What attracted me, those thing, in every single day, they used their computers. They didn’t know what’s happening on them while they using computers, they are safe?. Apart from this, those thing give the opportunity to develop a software in the future. If I were a software developer someday, why not?. I will type the best codes with no errors. I have always understood and enjoyed coding lesson.

The best cyber security is my dream software. It is an important factor to be considered if one is to be able to protect oneself, not only the computers but also for us as a user from malicious people and software form internet. Most of that threats to computer and the user came from internet. Cyber security is an attempt by individuals to protect their personal information and other digital assets form attacks form the internet, like malicious software, spyware and computer viruses.

Anti-personal information theft, anti-malware, anti-spyware, anti-computer viruses etc. Those thing are the features of my software that I want to develop. Those features also disabling hackers to access to all data stored in our computers. The software has to be always updated so that there is an assurance that it is working at its full capacity.

In conclusion, all I want are, while we are using computers and other related technology we are also have the assurance that we are protected.

Computer World

In this World, It’s hard to imagine that someone can live without computers. Computers become an electronic device of almost every day use for individuals. Electronic gadget that improved the efficiency and productivity of work done.

The computer is one of the most brilliant gift of science. Charles Babbage developed this device first in 1812 followed by George Boole in 1854, Howard and Aitten in 1937, Dr. John Nouchly and J.P. Eckert in 1946 these computers were named the first generation of equipment. Today, we are now using fifth generation computers. Smaller, Lighter, Faster and more powerful than before.

Computer has a huge memory. It can hold large amount of data. The computer system in not a simple machine. It can execute over a million of instruction without committing a mistake. It is like a very modern and highly complex calculator. It can do all the functions at a speedy rate. A computer be called a calculator not only to perform fast calculations, but it also has other special characteristics. Computers have been a lot role to play. They been use not only at the office or at home, but in all kinds of sectors and businesses. They use it at banks, restaurant, airports, railway station etc. They also used most important in education.

Teachers uses computers on teaching their students. Likely in presenting their topics using powerpoint. This may cause to attract student to listen on them and to motivate students to study well. Students also take advantages of those computers. They improved the quality of their works. They can do their tasks fast and easily which more work to be done. And the most is the teacher easily and fastly compute the grades of their students.
Computers can help businesses. Businesses use computer as part of their daily operations. Almost all kinds of businesses are relying on computers for automating their traditional processes. The main use of computer in business are; Business communication, they use various methods of communication through computers. Now they using Emails, live chat tools, social networking for communicating between employers, supplies and customers. Marketing, computers play a role in marketing. Now most of marketing is done online using internet medias. Social media, website development, blogging, advertising are main form of online marketing. Home based workers, with the help of computers now we can do online jobs. Organization, the ease with databases, spreadsheets, computer has improved the efficiency and management of business worldwide. Many offices now use computer programs to handle scheduling, accounting, billing, inventory management, telecommunication etc.

The importance of computers in our daily lives can be judged by the number of people using them each single day. Computer is not only used by professionals, but also by us a students and also children. Today, everything related your everyday life can be done using computers, you can order meals through online using computer, you can read news online, you work in your home with the help of computer, you can watch movies and videos through your computer, you can play games, you can also contact people and talk to them through your computer. These are just few things that can be done with the help of computers.

In conclusion, those examples, which I mentioned above shows computer play significant role in our society. It can be said that our modern lives cannot exist without computers, even though computers participate activity and play some important roles in our world, there are still one of the useful tools for human being and the most brilliant gift of science.
